The Peanut sofa by Mauro Lipparini from Italian brand Bonaldo is a fully modular sofa with a fantastic choice of seating modules. Separate armrests mean that it is also easier to deliver into smaller spaces.
Extremely versatile the Peanut sofa will blend seamlessly into any space or style, it can also be arranged like an island and placed in the centre of a room to create the perfect area in which to socialise. The padding is in variable density polyurethane foam with two extremely comfortable options for the seat and front of backrest padding. Firstly, you can choose Down which is a combination of mixed down in a cotton featherproof fabric, or secondly you can select Air Soft which is a layer of shaped polyurethane foam in bonded velveteen.
Compositions can also include certain modules fitted with a sliding mechanism to extend the length of the seat, for further comfort. Another useful feature of the Peanut sofa is that you can choose the width and height of your armrests depending on your requirements, either a slim 25cm or a wider 35cm, both in either a 50cm height or a 68cm height.
The removable upholstery is in fabric or leather in several categories of each and can be chosen in one solid colour or with different colours and patterns for each module of the sofa, thereby offering further opportunity for personalisation.
With so many different options available, it is impossible to price them all, so for ease we have priced a standard 190cm wide sofa (not shown) with either 25cm or 35cm wide armrests. The main image shows a Composition 4 sofa which is 330cm wide and consists of a 195cm wide end section and a chaise longue, both with 35cm wide armrests (one high and one low). This composition has been priced in Fabric Category 900 and COM only. Bonaldo recommend for optimum comfort that you add extra scatter cushions to all Peanut sofas which are not included but can be ordered separately.
