FEEL CHEST OF DRAWERS IN WOOD

Our bedroom furniture section is the largest on our site, & bedside cabinets & chests of drawers in wood are only a small part of the choices available. Always popular, wooden bedroom furniture matches our contemporary wooden beds of course, but they also look great with our upholstered beds. We have noticed trends in bedroom furniture wood colours recently, bleached oaks & light oaks are out & white painted ash & oak are in. Some of the more forward thinking Italian manufacturers are also making wardrobes & bedroom furniture in other, pale colours of lacquered wood, for example light dove grey. The colour is a solid colour, but the texture of the wood grain is visible. We are also seeing bedroom furniture in canaletto walnut, a soft, versatile wood finish that works really well with paler fabrics. Dark oak bedroom furniture is still going strong too, although it needs to be used with care. In a bedroom with a white bed & white walls it can look stunning, but darker rooms aren't suited to it.
