FLORENCE KNOLL ARMCHAIR
As a pioneer of the Knoll Planning Unit, US designer Florence Knoll (1917-present) created what she modestly called the "fill-in pieces that no one else wants to do." She refers to her own line of lounge seating as the equivalent of meat and potatoes, asserting "I needed the piece of furniture for a job and it wasn't there, so I designed it."
Like so many of her groundbreaking designs the 1954 Lounge collection has a spare, angular profile that reflects the objective perfectionism of modern design in the early 1960s.
Made to the very highest standards, the Go Modern version of the Florence Knoll chair is fully covered in beautiful Italian leather. The legs are the highest quality grade 304 chrome plated steel. It complies with all UK fire regulations & has a 1 year manufacturer’s guarantee.
There are a choice of two leather grades, standard (a high quality Italian top grain leather), & full aniline (the smoothest & softest of all – also the most hard wearing)
