Made in Italy, our version of the Eames chair & stool is made to the very highest standards, with a moulded rosewood plywood shell hand finished in beeswax, mounted with steel reinforced rubber joints. The cushions are covered in high quality Italian semi aniline or aniline leather (or fabric) & the base is a cast alumium five-star swivel base.
Charles Eames, Jr (1907 - 1978) was an American designer, architect and filmmaker who, together with his wife Ray, is responsible for many iconic designs of the last century. Introduced in 1956 the leather Eames Lounge Chair is recognized as one of the most distinguished pieces of 20th century design & timelessly blends elegant, old-fashioned luxury and visionary modernism.
Our Italian Eames Lounge chair & stool are available in black, crema, cacao, red, bordeaux, anthracite, lime green, dark green, & dark blue. There are two leather grades, semi aniline (a very high quality Italian leather), & full aniline (the smoothest & softest of all – and the hardest wearing). This chair can also be covered in the clients own fabric (minimum order two). Delivery charge £40 (UK except Scotland)
