BARCELONA SIDE TABLE
Designed by the great Ludwig Mies van der Rohe in 1930 the glass & chrome Barcelona Pavilion table is so called as it was erroneously thought to be designed as part of the Barcelona range, especially as it is often paired with the Barcelona Chair for their stylistic parallels. In fact it was designed a year later for the Tugendhat house in Brno, Czechoslovakia, along with the Brno chair.
Incorporating his signature stylized cross form, the fabulous Barcelona coffee table expresses a clarity of form and materials that is immediately recognizable, and will always look amazing with or without the matching Mies van der Rohe chairs.
As you can see from our photographs our version of this modern coffee table is an exceptionally high quality version, with a base of heavy polished grade 304 chrome plated steel frame and a beautiful 15mm thick clear glass top.
