BARCELONA 3 SEAT BENCH
Created by German designer Ludwig Mies van der Rohe (1886-1969), in 1930, the Barcelona bench was so named for its similarity to the well known Barcelona chair. However it was not designed for the German Pavilion, it was in fact used for the first time in 1930 in Philip Johnson's apartment in New York and later shown to the public in 1931 at the Berlin Bau-Austellung as part of the furniture for a 'bachelor's apartment'.
As you can see from our detailed photographs, our version of the Barcelona bench is made to the very highest standards, covered in beautiful Italian leather, with individually stitched squares, hand stitched buttons, concealed zips and full leather straps. The frame is solid cherry, & the legs are the highest quality chrome plated steel. It complies with all UK fire regulations & has a 1 year manufacturers guarantee.
There are two leather grades, standard (a high quality Italian top grain leather, soft & hard wearing), & full aniline (the best quality available) Usually in stock in black, chocolate, ivory & white leather, or to order in cognac, red & tan.
Delivery is £45 (UK except Scotland) & we can also deliver this throughout Europe.
