Go Modern Furniture was set up by partners Tina Mahony & Simon Ingham to provide excellent quality contemporary furniture via the internet, with the focus on classic, & new designers, quality, and value for money. Our bedroom furniture, armchairs, dining tables, chairs, bookcases, shelving, sideboards, sofas, coffee tables & outdoor furniture is carefully chosen for practicality as well as design, with the ethos that good design must ‘work’ as well as being great to look at.
Our website has been especially designed for ease of use, & to provide the maximum amount of information to enhance your online shopping experience - & our Chelsea Harbour, London showroom is open during the week to view furniture you may be interested in.
On the Go Modern furniture website we have large close-up pictures of our key pieces to enable you to properly see the quality, as well as (where possible) pictures of furniture in situ, and from different angles. We have also provided clear pictures of the different colours and options, & have classified all of our furniture by designer and by product type - as well as providing a search facility at the bottom of each page.
We originally began with a wide range of excellent quality furniture inspired by the Modern Classics, the iconic furniture which is a familiar sight in films, television, and interior design magazines. We import this furniture in partnership with one of the largest, most established Classic Furniture wholesalers, and are therefore able to offer it at exceptionally good prices. The quality is second to none, as the photos on our website show.
We then very quickly added beautiful black & ivory lacquered sideboards, bookcases & dining tables from Italian company Casabella, followed by a comprehensive range of glass coffee tables & dining tables, some additional Italian dining tables & chairs, and are constantly adding new collections to our portfolio!
We have also just added an incredible new collection of Spanish designer outdoor all weather furniture in the new synthetic rattan from Point, some fabulous Italian bedroom furniture, and most recently a huge collection of modern dining tables, sideboards, bookcases, shelving and coffee tables from well loved and respected Portuguese company, Tema.
