We have a large selection of sliding doors wardrobes, many more than are shown on this page. We have five different ranges, but as the makers don't supply us with the photos of every wardrobe they make with sliding doors we are limited in what we can show here. However we have photos of most of the finishes on here (even if they are shown on a different wardrobe), & most finishes are available from most suppliers, for example four of the five make sliding doors in gloss lacquer. The reason we have chosen to have so much choice is that each supplier has slightly different sizes, so if you have exactly 3.25 metres we can find a wardrobe that will be 3.22 metres, whereas if we had one supplier we might only be able to offer 2.9 or 3.35 metres. Each different brand has a few finishes that are exclusive to them as well, for example the Jesse Code sliding doors are unique to Jesse, & not offfered by SMA.
Sliding door wardrobes are extremely popular, as they can look ultra modern, especially if you have a large space to fill, & as sliding doors do not open into the room in a way they can take up less room. But these wardrobes are really only available in larger sizes (our smallest is 153cm), so if you only have a small space or want storage divided into smaller spaces then it is better to look at hinged door wardrobes. They are also more expensive than hinged door wardrobes, especially once you start looking at gloss lacquer or special glass doors. Still, they have no handles so can look sleek & sophisticated, which is why many of our clients prefer them.
If you are looking at bedroom wardrobes we have found that the best thing to do is to look at the different wardrobes to find a few you like. Don't worry about the colour shown in the photo as all wardrobes are available in a huge variety of colours & finishes, just get an idea of the type of sliding doors you like. Our drop down menus give an indication of prices so once you have found a few you like & are happy with the price (don't forget the price doesn't include extra wardrobe internals apart from 1 shelf & two hanging rails) then measure your space carefully, looking at ceiling height & allowing for skirting boards, radiators etc. Then feel free to contact us via email or phone or come into our showroom. We have wardrobe experts who can guide you through the different choices & make some suggestions - we have all of the technical information, prices, catalogues & samples here - & once you have settled on a design they can draw it up on a computer to show you exactly how it will look & what the layout will be.
Once you have ordered your wardrobe it will take approximately 8-10 weeks to arrive from Italy, & if we are installing it for you it will be delivered directly to our team who will arrange your installation date & time with you. Our wardrobe assembly people are very experienced & work with some of the most prestigious names in the market. They can cut & put in 'filler panels' on the side of your wardrobe so that there are no visible spaces (these will need to be ordered with the wardrobe) & can do other small alterations. At the moment we can only install wardrobes in London, within the M25 & in Scotland, but this will change when we find someone who can meet our exacting standards.
