This bed is made in lacquered ash, where a wood has been lacquered so that the wood grain shows through but the colour is even (not a wash). To see the ash colours click here.

Beds available in the Astra range include king size beds & super king size beds to fit UK mattresses, as well as Euro King size beds & Emperor beds (200cm x 200cm), plus custom length beds (longer or shorter)

The Astra contemporary bed also has the option to have little LED lights in the gap in the headboard, giving a subtle light (as seen in the photo), & there are versions in cherry & tobacco oak (separate products).

Finally, the Astra king size bed is also available as a storage bed, with a storage base instead of legs, & easy to use gas lift mattress slats over a large sealed storage space inside the base.
