ARTHUR CONTEMPORARY SOFA BED

Piped cushions & curved arms give the Arthur sofa bed a more classic look, but under the traditional exterior is the very best of contemporary sofa bed design.

Made in Italy, the Arthur sofa bed has a solid wood frame & seat cushions in foam covered with an acrylic layer, with back cushions of polyester & feather mix. The easy to fold out bed has a welded orthopaedic bedspring & a comfortable 12cm thick mattress.

Covers can be fully removed for cleaning & extra covers are also available. The fabric priced is the base fabric category, but we have a wide choice of fabrics available for the Arthur sofa bed, & it is also possible to supply your own fabric.

Sofa Beds at Go Modern

Sofa beds were one of the first things we added to our contemporary furniture ranges as we knew it was difficult to find really high quality sofa beds, as most Italian factories don't make them. We have found a couple of excellent factories however, based in Italy, who make high quality, comfortable sofa beds.

Unlike the sofa beds you usually find in the UK these have sprung mattresses that are between 12cm & 15cm thick, which is comfortable enough to use every night. The manufacturers have also paid a lot of attention to the padding in the seats, ensuring that when the sofa bed is being used as a sofa it is also nice & comfortable. They have other matching contemporary furniture too, so can be part of your overall home design, unlike many others.
